Abstract
Objective:To investigate the related factors of postoperative prognosis in patients with gastric cancer.Methods:The clinical and pathological data of 489 patients with gastric cancer,who underwent surgical treatment from Apr 2007 to May 2013 in Wujin Hospital,Jiangsu University were retrospectively analyzed,and the prognosis was evaluated with univariate and multi-variate analysis.Results:In the univariate analysis,age,tumor size,histological type,depth of invasion,operation method,num-ber of lymph node metastasis,carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)level increases preoperatively,the existence of distant metastasis were found to be significantly associated with the cumulative survival rate(P < 0.05).Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that histological type,number of lymph node metastasis,preoperative increase of CEA level,existence of distant metas-tasis were the independent factors which affected postoperative outcomes of patients with gastric cancer(P <0.05).Conclu-sions:Histological type,number of lymph node metastasis,existence of distant metastasis and preoperative increase of CEA level are the main factors that affect the postoperative prognosis of patients with gastric cancer.关键词
