Abstract
Objectives To investigate the effect of old-age care institutions in daily life of the elderly self-care ability on the quality of life,to explore the methods of improving the elderly self-care ability,so as to improve the quality of life.Methods Using the activity of daily living scale ( ADL) and WHO quality of life scale ( WHOQOL-BREF) questionnaires were administered to 74 elderly patients with senile apartment in Linyi City,and the impact of ADL of the elderly factors by correlation analysis.Results Age,chronic disease and whether to participate in the exercise or entertainment and ADL scores were negatively correlated,the differ-ence was significant;quality of life scale in all areas scores and ADL scores were negatively correlated,the difference was significant and very significant;quality of life of high score group and ADL group the low rating ( except Q1 and psychological field) ,the differ-ence was significant.Conclusions elderly people age,prevalence rate of chronic diseases,self-care ability is poor,the quality of life in general lower level.The relationship between self-care ability and quality of life in close.关键词
