Abstract
Objective To observe and analyze the clinical effect and application value of pectoralis major myocutaneous flap to large decay of oral and maxillofacial region. Methods 48 cases with large decay of oral and maxillofacial region treated in our hospital from May 2010 to June 2013 were selected as research objects and were treated with pectoralis major myocutaneous flap.The clinical effect of patients was observed and the application value was evaluated. Results 48 cases with large decay of oral and maxillofacial region survived after receiving the treatment of pectoralis major myocutaneous flap,and the survival rate was 100%,in which there were 2 cases with distal end necrosis,which had no influence on oral function.There was 1 case with limitation achievingⅡlevel after repair and 3 cases with resection of lower jawbone,except for which the oral functions of other patients were normal.The satisfactory degree of patients was 89.58%(43/48). Conclusion For clinical treatment on large decay of oral and maxillofacial region,using pectoralis major myocutaneous flap not only can meet the requirement of decay area and has good repair effect and survival rate,but also can improve oral functions,and the patients were satisfied with the repair effect.关键词
