Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical effect of Vitapex paste and Zinc oxide eugenol(ZOE) iodo-form paste used for root canal filling of anterior teeth. Methods A total of 90 patients(90 teeth) who needed root canal filling in our hospital from Mar 2012 to Jun 2014 were randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group was treated with Vitapex paste,while control group was treated with ZOE iodoform paste.The patients were followed up and observed for clinical efficacy. Results From six months to two years after treatment,the success rate of treatment group(95.5%)was significantly higher than that of control group(80.0%),P<0.05.The growth of bone mineral density was measured, the treatment group measurements of was(11.3 ± 2.6)mm,and the control group was(5.3 ± 2.2)mm. There was significantly different(P<0.05). Conclusion Vitapex paste is a good choice for anterior teeth filling,which should be used widely in clinic.关键词
