Abstract
Objective To explore the periodontal maintenance treatment on periodontal long-time effect. Methods Randomly dividing 84 patients with chronic periodontitis in the hospital from January,2010 to December 2010 into the control group and the observation group, with 42 patients in each group.The control group didn't receive periodontal maintenance treatment,and the observation group received periodontal maintenance treatment.Clinical datum of the patients in the two groups, such as BI,missing teeth number and PD,were compared. Results Missing teeth number in the observation group was significantly less than the control group,and the attachment level was significantly higher,BI locus was significantly less,and the height of alveolar ridge was significantly higher(P<0.05).There was statistical meaning. Conclusion Periodontal maintenance treatment on patients with chronic periodontitis can do favor of reducing teeth missing number and ensuring the stable effect of routine treatment.So it is worth clinical promotion.关键词
