Recent Vegetable Market Situation and Its Prospect

Abstract
Vegetable prices continued to climb up slightly in Sep. 2014 affected by the weather and holiday consumption effect, but still below the price level of last year. Vegetable trade performed well from January to August, with physical exports at the same amount as last year, but the trade surplus still expanded even with enlarged import volume and value. It is expected that a wide spread lower temperature and rainfalls, as well as the National Day consumption will further raise vegetable prices in October, and in the future, vegetable prices will continue to increase, however remaining below the level of last year.关键词
