Impact of Target Price Policy on China's Cotton Market

Abstract
Cotton target price trial is an important measure to improve China's agricultural products price formation mechanism. After one year's pilot, main market bodies of cotton industry have basically adapted to target price policy. The authors comparatively analyzed the trend of domestic cotton market price, cotton changes in price gap between domestic and international markets, China's cotton imports under temporary storage policy and target price policy, and thought that, under the target price policy, China's cotton market price was decided by supply and demand step by step, the resources of cotton processing enterprises began to optimize and integrate, management situation of cotton textile enterprises tended to turn for the better, and inland planting area of cotton would significantly reduce.关键词
