摘要

Abstract

Objective To observe the efficacy of low frequency ultrasound in treatment of carotid artery plaque (CAP)and carotid stenosis(CS). Methods From April 2011 to April 2013,137 atherosclerotic patients admitted to Li-aocheng Peopleˊs Hospital were divided randomly into groups study(n=70),control(n=67). Control group were given con-ventional treatment,study group combined with low frequency ultrasound. The diameter and shape of CAP,CS degree and levels of TG,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C were compared between 2 groups before and after treatment. The adverse reactions recorded. ResUlts There was no significant difference in IMT,CAP diameter,plaque scores between 2 groups before treatment( P >0. 05),lower in study group than in control group after treatment(P<0. 05),lower after treatment than before in 2 groups(P<0. 05). The moderate,severe stenosis rates were lower in study group than in control group after treatment(P <0. 05). There was no difference in lipid parameters between 2 groups before treatment(P>0. 05),the levels of TC,LDL-C lower in study group than in control group after treatment(P<0. 05). The levels of TC,LDL-C were lower after treatment than before treatment in study group( P<0. 05 ). No severe adverse reaction was noted in 2 groups. ConclUsion Low frequency ultra-sound can effectively treat CAP and CS,which has become a new treatment for CAP,worthy of clinical application.
