口腔行为医学因素对慢性牙周炎伴2型糖尿病患者牙周健康及糖代谢水平的影响
Influence of Oral Behavioral Determinants on Periodontal Health and Glucose Metabolism in Patients with Type 2 Diabe-tes Mellitus and Chronic Periodontitis

Abstract
Objective To evaluate the influence of oral behavioral determinants on periodontal health and glucose me-tabolism in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus( T2DM)and chronic periodontitis. Methods 132 patients with chronic peri-odontitis and T2DM admitted to the Outpatient Clinic of Guangdong Provincial Stomatological Hospital from May 2012 to January 2013 were selected. The general information and oral behavioral determinants were collected by using questionnaire,including tooth brushing, dental flossing, smoking and alcohol drinking. Tooth loss and mean gingival bleeding index were examined through full-mouth assessment(6 sites). Mean alveolar bone resorption was calculated by periapical film,and fasting venous blood was collected to determine FPG and HbA1c. Results The mean gingival bleeding index,FPG and HbA1c of patients with tooth brushing≥2 times per day were lower than the patients with tooth brushing≤one time per day(P<0. 05). The mean gin-gival bleeding index and mean alveolar bone resorption of patients using dental floss were lower than patients not using dental floss (P<0. 05). The mean alveolar bone resorption of smoking patients was higher than non-smoking patients(P<0. 05). Linear regression analysis showed that tooth brushing≥2 times per day was a protective factor for FPG,HbA1c and mean gingival bleed-ing index(P<0. 05). Smoking was a risk factor for mean alveolar bone resorption(P<0. 05),while dental flossing was a protective factor for mean alveolar bone resorption ( P <0. 05 ) . Conclusion Oral behavioral determinants, including tooth brushing,dental flossing and smoking were associated with periodontal health and glycemic metabolic level in patients with chron-ic periodontitis and T2DM.关键词
