Abstract
Objective To acquire the human resource status and developing trend in community health service institu-tions(CHSIs)of Chaoyang District during 2010 to 2012 and providing advices for appropriate human resource allocation in CHSIs. Methods Human resource information regarding number of staff,structure of specialties,education back ground and professional title,etc. Of 42 community health service centers(CHSCs)and 199 community health service stations(CHSSs)in Chaoyang District were collected during 2010 to 2012 from monthly,quarterly,annual and interim reports via CHSI reporting network and information management platform. Results Health professionals in CHSCs and CHSSs of Chaoyang District occurred no significant changes during 2010 to 2012(χ2trend = 1. 535,P = 0. 215;χ2trend = 0. 026,P = 0. 872). The proportion of practi-cing doctor and assistant doctor increased,but not statistically significant(χ2trend = 2. 887,P = 0. 089),the proportion of gener-al practitioners increased first but declined afterward( χ2trend = 355. 567,P = 0. 001). The most of the health professionals in CHSIs had junior college education background,the proportion of health professionals with postgraduate and undergraduate back-ground increased slowly during 2010 to 2012(χ2trend = 5. 732,P = 0. 017;χ2trend = 9. 898,P = 0. 002). The most of the health professionals had junior professional title and the amount increased gradually. The professionals with senior professional titles also increased slowly(χ2trend = 7. 135,P = 0. 008). Conclusion The human resources of CHSIs improve greatly in both staff capaci-ty and quality. But it is yet sufficient to meet the need of community. The structure of health professionals' education background and professional title are not appropriate. Comprehensive measures including promoting recruitment,encouraging continuing medi-cal education,reforming performance evaluation should be adopted to optimize human resource allocation in CHSIs of Chaoyang District.关键词
