摘要
Abstract
Objective To analyze the characteristics of event related potential P300 ( ERP-P300 ) in patients with depression and to evaluate the status of their cognitive dysfunction. Methods This study enrolled 75 patients who received treatment in the Department of Neurology,the People's Hospital of Peking University from June 2013 to June 2014. Among them, 40 patients with depression were assigned as depression group and other 35 patients without depression as control group. Mini-mental state examination( MMSE) scale was employed on the two groups. ERP-P300 test was conducted to record the latency period and amplitude of P300 wave. ResuIts The two groups had no significant difference in gender, age, occupation, education level,length of memory deterioration(P﹥0. 05). Scores of the two groups were within normal range,while MMSE scores of control group were higher ( P﹤0. 05 ) . The depression group showed longer latency and shorter amplitude of ERP-P300 in central region and parietal region(P﹤0. 05). Age was positively correlated with latency period of ERP-P300 for both groups(r=0. 481,0. 351,P ﹤0. 05). ConcIusion Patients with depression show longer latency and shorter amplitude of ERP-P300 , patients have cognitive dysfunction. P300 is an effective tool for clinical evaluation of cognitive dysfunction in patients with depression.关键词
