Use of GGE Biplots in the Yielding Ability,Stability and Adaptation Evaluation for the Varieties in the Rice Regional Trials

Abstract
Crop regional trial is an important part of the crop breeding,registering and extension for new varieties. AMMI models and GGE biplots are very effective in the date analysis of the crop regional trial,especially in the evaluation of yielding ability,stability and adaptation for the tested varieties,while GGE biplots have gain more popularity in recent years.This article introduced GGE biplots,and used a data set from 2012 trial group B of the early maturity for late season indica rice in Southern China Rice Regional Trials as an example to demonstrate its effectiveness in the evaluation of yielding ability,stability and adaptation for the tested varieties.The paper also discussed the points for attentions or precautions in the application of the GGE biplots.关键词
