摘要
Abstract
Objective:To investigate the applications of procalcitonin in infectious disease.Methods:787 patient were selected.All of the subjects were decimated fasting blood in the morning before accepting antibiotic treatment.We detected levels of PCT and high sensitive C-reactive protein(CRP) in the plasma and compared with normal physical examination people.Results:The pathogen detection results:165 cases wer culture positive,110 cases(58.8%) of the sputum culture positive,secretion culture was positive in 57 patients(30.4%),blood culture was positive in 20 cases(10.6%);The results of PCT and CRP test:we compared the bacterial infection group PCT detection results with the control group showed that t=3.2719,P=0.005(P<0.01);and we compared the bacterial infection group CRP compared with the control group showed that t=3.951,P=0.005(P<0.01).Conclusion:PCT can be used as a monitoring index for bacterial infection,it can make up the time-consuming shortcomings of bacterial culture,in order to provide the basis for the empirical use of antibiotics.关键词
