Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of ginsenoside Rg3 on the lifetime of advanced gastric cancer patients with expressing multiple drug resistance genes,such as placenta type of glutathione-s-transferase π (GST-π),P-glycoprotein(P-gP), topoisomerase Ⅱ(Topo-Ⅱ) and so on.Methods:The expression of GST-π,P-gP,Topo-Ⅱ protein in the advanced gastric cancer tissue were detected by immunohistochemistry.48 cases with 2 or more than 2 expressing positive resistance gene proteins in the early gastric cancer tissue were selected.They were randomly divided into the treatment group(25 cases) and the control group(23 cases).The treatment group were treated with ginsenoside Rg3,oxaliplatin and gimeraciland oteracil porassium chemotherapy.The control group were treated with oxaliplatin and gimeraciland oteracil porassium chemotherapy.The difference of the survival time between the two groups was compared.Results:The median survival time of the treatment group was 23.000±1.655 months.The median survival time of the control group was 13.000±1.497 months. The difference of the survival time between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:Ginsenoside Rg3 can significantly prolong the survival time of advanced gastric cancer patients with expressing multiple drug resistance genes,and maybe reverse platinum chemotherapy drug resistance of advanced gastric cancer.关键词
