Effect of oxygen therapy on pulmonary function and arterial blood gas of COPD patients in the stable stage

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of oxygen therapy treatment and the effects on arterial blood gas in the treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Methods:80 cases with COPD in stable stage were selected from June 2011 to June 2013 .They were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 40 cases in each.The control group were given conventional treatment,while the observation group were treated by nasal catheter oxygen therapy,with 2 weeks as a cycle.We compared the arterial blood gas and pulmonary function of the two groups after the treatment,and took statistical analysis.Results:Compared with the control group,the ratio of FEV1/FVC,the degree of PaO2 increased and the PaCO2 decreased of the observation group were better than those of the control group,and there was statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:Oxygen therapy in treating COPD patients in stable stage can obviously improve the arterial blood gas and pulmonary function of patients,so it is worth popularizing widely.关键词
