Epidemiological investigation of the carrying situation of vaccine for hepatitis B surface antigen in the elementary and middle school students of Hunjiang district in Baishan city

Abstract
Objective:To understand the situation of HBsAg carrying in the primary and middle school students of Hunjiang district in Baishan city,and to make the hepatitis B prevention planning effective.Methods:We surveyed the HBsAg carrying situation in 7251 students who were in the Hunjiang District of Baishan City from May 2011.The HBsAg were determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results:136 cases were HBsAg(+),and the positive rate was 1.88%.86 Males were HBsAg(+),and the positive rate was 2.16%.50 Female were HBsAg(+),and the positive rate was 1.53%.Conclusion:Hepatitis B vaccine is an important measure in prevention and control of hepatitis B epidemic.It is the most effective,simple,economy in China. The school is student gathering place,so we should do hepatitis B vaccination for the HBsAg and HBsAb negative students every 2 to 3 years,and to strengthen vaccination for the concentration of HBsAg weaker students,in order to reduce the chance of infection.关键词
