Abstract
Objective:To investigate the awareness of core information about tuberculosis prevention and control in college students.Methods:Questionnaire survey of core information about tuberculosis prevention and control was conducted among 2173 undergraduate students.Results:The total awareness of core information about tuberculosis prevention and control in college students was 45.51%.48.23% students knew that tuberculosis mainly through respiratory transmission.65.49% students suspected to have pulmonary tuberculosis when they repeatedly cough,expectoration two weeks or bloody sputum.33.87% students knew that they should go to the doctor when suspected of tuberculosis.51.68% students knew that there were some free policy in the examination and treatment of tuberculosis in China.28.30% students knew that tuberculosis was a chronic disease with 90% can be cured as long as adhere to treatment for 6~8 months.Conclusion:The awareness of core information about tuberculosis prevention and control in college students is low,so we should strengthen the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis through various forms of health education about tuberculosis prevention and control.关键词
