Research on the mental health level of nurses with different personality characteristics

Abstract
Objective:To investigate and analyze the mental health level of nurses with different personality characteristics. Methods:Through the questionnaire,218 clinical nurses accepted Eysenck personality(EPQ) and symptom checklist questionnaire(SCL-90),in order to investigate the mental health level of nurses with different personality characteristics.Results:The questionnaires were distributed to a total of 218 copies.210 were effective questionnaire.That Eysenck personality questionnaire showed that in 210 nurses.71 cases were bilious temperament;68 cases were sanguineous temperament;57 cases were melancholic temperament;14 cases were mucoid substance.SCL-90 survey results showed that the total score and each factor in addition to paranoia and personal relationships of these nurses were higher than the national level,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:The level of mental health of clinical nurses in 2 hospitals are lower than that of normal population.This suggests that clinical nurses work pressure is big;the responsibility is heavy;the rhythm is fast,which easily cause nurses with psychological problems,so we should pay enough attention to it.关键词
