Analysis of the clinical characteristics of measles in infants within 8 months

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the characteristics and clinical symptoms of measles in infants within 8 months.Methods:166 infants within 8 months who suffered from measles disease were selected from November 2012 to December 2013.We retrospective analyzed their clinical data.Results:There were 166 infants in this group;their mean age was(5.48±1.45) months;the time of onset in infants with measles were more concentrated in December and from January to March.The clinical symptoms were fever,body temperature≤39℃in 123 cases;the proportion was largest among infants with measles.Multiple concurrent bronchial pneumonia,147 cases of measles complicated with bronchial pneumonia with(88.55%).Measles IgM antibody test in every patients were positive.166 patients were recovered after treatment;the hospitalization time was 4 to 16 days,averaged(6.42 ± 1.25) days. Conclusion:Compared with the previous women of childbearing age the aerum immunoglobulin titer of maternal in current is low. This may be the reason of measles virus infection in infants within 8 months,congenital measles antibody titer decreased.It makes difficult to resist the measles virus.Therefore,in order to better protect the baby health within 8 months,measles vaccine injection can be given to the women of childbearing age who prepared to birth.关键词
