Abstract
Objective:Through the health education in all aspects for elderly diabetic patients and their families in community,we made full use of community health resources to establish a standardized,comprehensive management of diabetes effectively,better control the blood glucose,and to reduce and delay the occurrence of complications.Methods:156 cases of elderly diabetic patients over 55 years old were selected from 2013 January to December.All aspects of the health education were implemented for the patients and their family members,including psychology,diet,exercise,medication,blood glucose monitoring and life style intervention and so on.Results:All the 156 patients got good effect,and the efficiency was 100%.Conclusion:Through the health education in all aspects for elderly diabetic patients and their families in community,establishing comprehensive and effective diabetes management standardized,and implementing targeted health educations for elderly patients with diabetes and their families,including psychology,diet,exercise,medication,blood glucose monitoring and life style intervention and so on,the blood glucose can be controlled better,and the occurrence and development of complications can be delayed.It should be popularized and applied in diabetes prevention and control work.关键词
