Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy time for carbon monoxide poisoning.Methods:180 patients with carbon monoxide poisoning were selected from March 2011 to February 2014.They were divided into 2 groups according to the actual treatment time,namely the receiving hyperbaric oxygen therapy group within 12 h after poisoning(group A) and the receiving hyperbaric oxygen therapy after 12 h after poisoning group(B group),90 cases in each group.They were given hyperbaric oxygen therapy within 12 h(group A) and after 12 h(group B).We analyzed the clinical curative effects,hospitalization time,the incidence of delayed encephalopathy and the death situation of the two groups patients.Results:The total Efficiency of the A group 97.8%(88/90)was more obviously higher than that of the B group 66.7%(60/90) after the first course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy(P<0.05);the hospitalization time of patients in the group A was significantly shorter than that of the group B(P<0.05). Thedelayed encephalopathy occurrence rate(0) was lower than the B group 4.4% (4/90) (P<0.05),but the difference of the mortality was not significant between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The effect of we give the hyperbaric oxygen therapy for patients with carbon monoxide poisoning within 12 h after poisoning is better than after 12 h,so that after carbon monoxide poisoning,the earlier do hyperbaric oxygen treatment the better the prognosis of the patients.关键词
