Abstract
Objective:To explore the surgical treatment method and effect for nodular goiter.Method:213 patients with nodular goiter accepted surgical treatment from January 2005 to January 2012 of were grouped according to the operation program.The effects of surgery,the postoperative complications and the recurrence rate in the process of follow-up were compared.Results:All operations were successful.There was no statistically significant difference of complication rates between the groups(P>0.05).But there was no recurrence during the follow-up after the total excision of thyroid,which was significantly better than the other groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Thyroid total resection in the treatment of patients with nodular goiter which need surgical treatment had very low recurrence rate and was worthy of promotion.关键词
