Clinical value of transvaginal ultrasound applied in the diagnosis of intrauterine adhesions

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical value of transvaginal ultrasound applied in the diagnosis of intrauterine adhesions. Methods:60 patients that suspected diagnosised as intrauterine adhesions were selected from January 2010 to December 2013.All the patients were given the transvaginal ultrasound,then combined with pathological examination after hysteroscopy operation,we compared the inspection results of two methods.Results:Through pathology after hysteroscopic therapy,there were 51 cases confirmed as intrauterine adhesion,9 cases without intrauterine adhesions,the incidence was 85%.Through transvaginal ultrasound, there were 47 cases confirmed as intrauterine adhesion,and 13 cases without intrauterine adhesion,the detection rate was 78.33%. When compared with the pathological results after hysteroscopic surgery,there were 4 cases were missed diagnosis by vaginal ultrasonography,the diagnosis accuracy rate was 92.16% .Conclusion:Transvaginal ultrasound can diagnosis uterine cavity adhesion effectively,with high diagnostic accuracy rate,and it also has advantages such as noninvasive,convenient and economic, so it is worthy of clinical application.关键词
