Effect observation of intravitreal injection of triamcinolone acetonide combined with laser photocoagulation for diabetic macular edema

Abstract
Objective:To discuss the clinical effect of intravitreal injection of triamcinolone acetonide combined with laser photocoagulation for diabetic macular edema.Methods:176 patients(216 eyes)with diabetic macular edema were selected.They were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 88 cases (108 eyes)in each.The control group using a simple grid pattern macular laser photocoagulation treatment.The observation group using intravitreal injection of triamcinolone acetonide combined with laser photocoagulation for treatment.The clinical efficacy and complication of two groups were compared. Results:After treatment,visual acuity and retinal thickness of the two groups were significantly improved(P<0.01).After the treatment,the observation group patients vision improved levels were significantly better than the control group(t=6.4339,P<0.01).Retinal thickness in patients of the observation group were significantly lower than the control group(t=18.8708,P<0.01). Conclusion:The clinical effect of intravitreal injection of triamcinolone acetonide combined with laser photocoagulation for diabetic macular edema is outstanding.It can significantly improve the patient's vision,and reduce macular edema.It has fewer adverse reactions,and it is safe and reliable.关键词
