摘要

Abstract

Bacillus thuringiensisinsecticidal protein expressed in transgenic corn can be released into soil through root exudates and upon decomposition of the plant residues. The fate of the insecticidal Cry1Ie protein from plant residues of the transgeniccrylIe corn was studied in the soil-dwellingEisenia foetida, by measuring the effects of Bt-corn on growth, development and enzyme activities of the earthwormE. foetida under various trial conditions. Finely ground Bt-corn leaves and stalks added to soil had no deleterious effects on survival and did not result in significant changes in growth and development ofE. fetida. The activities of SOD and POD ofE. fetida in 50B+0N (50 g Bt/500 g soil) group were significant higher than that in 0B+50N (50 g non-Bt/500 g soil) group, suggesting that Bt corn could induce the activities of SOD and POD ofE. fetida within a short time. No differences in protein contents andthe activities of AChE and CAT were detected between treatment groups.
