GENE MANIPULATION AND SEQUENCE ANALYSIS OF PCOX1 OF TICKS FROM A ZEBRA IN CHANGSHA ZOO
摘要
Abstract
In order to illustrate sequence variation in cytochrome c oxidase subunit l (pcox1) mtDNA of ticks collected from a Kenya zebra in Changsha Ecological Zoo, pcox1 mtDNA are amplified and analyzed using softwares DNAStar (V5.01), Clustalx2.0 and Phylip3.67. The ticks collected from a zebra were Boophilus decoloratus, Rhipicephalus pulchellu and Hyalomma with inter-species difference at 0.7%-20.2%. The pcox1 gene might be used as a marker for genetic variability.关键词
