Abstract
Cancer cachexia is a syndrome of progressive nutritional depletion which causes significant morbidity and mortality in cancer patients. The pathogenetic mechanisms underlying cancer cachexia is a complex interaction between the host and the tumor. The therapeutic standard of care for cachexia remains undefined to date. Among the recognized approaches, use of anti-inflammatory agents, nutritional therapy, and molecular theory.关键词
