Abstract
Objective To evaluate the safety and efficacy of laparoscopic-assisted resection(LAP)for gastrointestinal stromal tumor(GISIs)by systematic review and meta-analysis. Methods The English literature comparing LAP and open resection (OPEN) for GISIs publicly published from January 2004 to March 2014 were searched from several international online databases. After screening for inclusion,data extraction,and quality assessment,Meta-analysis was conducted by the Review Manager 5.2 software. Results There are Twelve studies meeting the inclusion criteria for meta—analysis.The total sample size of these studies was 719 cases,of whom,345 cases underwent LAP and 374 cases were subjected to OPEN.Compared to OPEN,LAP not only experienced shorter time of postoperative flatus(P=0.04), liquid(P<0.05) and hospital stay(P<0.05),but also experienced less postoperative complications(P<0.05) and recurrence rate(P<0.05). The number of operative time and intraoperative blood loss were similar between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion LAP is a safe and feasible procedure and has a good short-term effect.关键词
