The Establishment and Utilization of the Chinese Sign Language Corpus Based on the ELAN Software

Abstract
As a cross-platform, multimedia annotation software, ELAN (EUDICO Linguistic Annotator) has been extensively applied to the establishment of sign language corpus. Based on the extensive investigation into the establishment of sign language corpus at home and abroad, this article proposes an idea of corpus establishment for Chinese sign language, provides the basic framework, establishes the standards and procedures for the collection, collation and annotation of corpus and builds a well-established sign language corpus for the sign language syntax research and the comparative study of sign language and oral Chinese.关键词
