Abstract
Objective To survey the apprehension of colloids in perfusionists and situation of colloids for pump priming in ex⁃tracorporeal circulation in China. Methods A questionnaire was designed and distributed through Internet. The survey items included apprehensions of both natural and synthetic colloids in perfusionists and situation of colloids for pump priming in adult and pediatric heart surgery. Results A total of 146 copies questionnaire were received from August to September in 2014. The colloids for pump priming frequently used in adult were synthetic species but natural species in pediatric heart surgery. Conclusion There was cognitive misunderstanding of natural colloids indications among some perfusionists. Some extent of inappropriate use of plasma for pump priming in heart surgery still exists. The findings of the survey reflected the current use of colloids for pump priming in extracorporeal circulation in Chinain spite of some limitations.关键词
