Analysis of patent status of intellectual property pilot institutions in Shanghai health system
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To study the prevalence and problems on patent management of intellectual property pilot institutions in Shanghai health system. All information from this study will be used for policy improvement on patent management in health system. Methods:Quantitative analysis was performed. Questionnaire was applied for 287 research investigators in 20 institutions,including 17 intellectual property pilot institutions(pilot group)and 3 non-pilot institutions(non-pilot group). Results:There were significant differences on the number of the training and understanding extent of patent knowledge between pilot group and non-pilot group(P<0.05). The training which research investigators mostly wanted in both groups was “patent application”. The average score of the exam for basic patent knowledge was 32.3%. A total of 56.1%of research investigators regarded the patent information from the patent website by the enterprises as the right way of patents transformation,and 65.5%needed the assistance of patent evaluation during the patent transformation. Conclusion:The government should strengthen the training of patent knowledge and patent information use,establish the platform for the transformation of patent from medical and pharmaceutical research,introduce the intermediary service agencies,and establish the price evaluation system.关键词
