Abstract
Objective:To analyze the hospital resources in Anhui province from 2002 to 2011 and to improve the efficiency of configuration and utilization. Methods:The descriptive analysis,technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution(TOPSIS)and comparative analysis were adopted to analyze and evaluate hospital resources. Results:Overall,the number of institutions,personnel,beds increased by year from 2002 to 2011,and the average annual growth rates were 4.12%,5.41% and 7.49%,respectively. The rapid development of medical service capabilities and efficient use of beds increased by year and reached the peak in 2011. The average annual growth rates of the total clinic visits,outpatient and emergency visits and inpatient services were 5.58%,7.44%and 14.10%. Health status of residents improved much. The average life expectancy increased by 3.23 years,the birth rate and infant mortality decreased to 12.23‰and 8.81‰consistent with those in the areas of better economic development and better than those of the areas with similar levels of economic development. Conclusion:It is suggested to consider hospital resource input from a rational perspective. It is also suggested to optimize allocation,conduct macroscopic planning according to health service needs and make morality and medical knowledge popular.关键词
