Abstract
Objective:To explore the appropriate mode of aged caring at home and further improve happiness index of the elderly in the community based on investigation of 500 aged people’s quality of life at Shanghai Caoyang community. Methods:The Memorial University of Newfoundland Scale of Happiness and the Elderly Quality of Life Scale were used. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 500 cases of elderly residents in a community of Shanghai to investigate current status and influencing factors of their quality of life. Results:Psychological and social factors such as emotion,family relationship,interpersonal relationship and social activities had relatively big impact. Community health service centers could actively contribute to the improvement with current resources. Conclusion:It is suggested that the government and nursing institutions speed up the study of community nursing care model. It is also suggested that community health centers provide“people-oriented”community nursing services,individualized nursing care and put elderly’s psychology and more social support as important content of community nursing development.关键词
