Abstract
Objective To analyse different effects on AC/A between after wearing orthokeratology lenses and glasses in juvenile myopia patients. Methods 23 patients (46 eyes) received orthokeratology lens trement and 34 pa-tients (68 eyes) received glasses in adolescent myopia patients,and then diopter and AC/A values were measured af-ter 1 year. Results The average diopter value increased 0.35 ± 0.25D in orthokeratology lens group to compare with 0.82 ± 0.36D in wearing glasses group after 1 year, and there was statistically significant difference (P<0.05) ; The average AC/A values decreased 0.83±0.23 in orthokeratology lens group to compare with 0.12 ± 0.06 in wearing glasses group after 1 year, and there was statistically significant difference (P<0.05) . Conclusions Orthokeratology lens can effectively slow down the progression of myopia in adolescent patients, and reduce AC/A values to balance between the accommodation convergence and accommodation.关键词
