Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of reconstruction of skin defect near lip with modified rhomboid flap. Methods:Reviewing the 50 cases under the application of modified rhomboid flap for repairing skin defects near lip in recent 5 years. The defect sizes were from 3 mm to 30 mm in diameter. Results:All flaps survived with primary healing. There are some difficulties in cutting and suturing modified rhomboid flap, when the skin defect near lip was being repaired, as the diameter of skin defect is less than 5 mm. As skin defect in size from 5 mm diameter to 20 mm, it is easy to remove and to suture. The lip and the nose do not become abnormally after surgery. As the size of defect exceed 20 mm diameter, particularly lay on upper lip, it could make the lip and nose to be slight abnormal. Conclusion:Modified rhomboid flap has obvious advantages in the medium-sized skin defect near lip.关键词
