Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinic effects of class Angle Ⅱ malocclusion patients with retrognathic mandible treated by SUS2 appliance. Methods:16 cases of class Angle Ⅱ malocclusion with retrognathic mandible were selected.All the patients were treated combination of MBT appliance and SUS2 appliance.The change of occlusal surface was observed and lateral cephalogram measurement was carried out before and after treatment,and the results were statistically analyzed. Results:After 18-20 months of treatment,16 cases of patients with normal overbite and overjet,molar relationship between neutral. Sagitally,the mandibular skeletal advancement and lower incisor proclination were evident. Vertically, the enhanced lower face height was contributed. Co-Go、Go-Po、ANS-Me、SNA、ANB increased,The difference has statistics significance before and after treatment.(P<0.05)Conclusions:Combined application of SUS2 appliance and MBT straight wire appliance can effectively stimulate the growth of mandible,coordinate the mandibular position relationship,improve mandible restrusion the of class Angel Ⅱ malocclusion patients with soft tissue profile and occlusion.关键词
