Abstract
Objective:To detect the expression of CK19,Galectin-3 in benign and malignant thyroid tumor,and to investigate the clinical significance in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid tumor.Method:80 cases of thyroid tumor tissue specimens between January 2012 to December 2013 were collected from the first affiliated hospital of Shanxi Medical University.All specimens had been proved by pathology,including 40 cases of thyroid cancer and 40 cases of thyroid adenoma operation specimens.Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of CK19 and Galectin-3 in 80 cases operation specimens of thyroid tumor.The experimental result were evaluated according to the percentage of positive cells and the staining intensity. Chi-square test of independent samples was used in comparison of sample rate between the two groups(test levelα=0.0167).The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of diagnosis were used to investigate the diagnostic value of CK19 and Galectin-3 in distinguishing benign from malignant thyroid tumor. Result:The positive rate of the CK19 in the thyroid cancer and thyroid adenoma were 100%(40/40)and 37.50%(15/40) respectively,the difference had statistical significance(P<0.001).The evaluation results of CK19 in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid tumors showed that the sensitivity was 100%,the specificity was 62.50%and the diagnostic accordance rate was 81.25%.The positive rate of the Galectin-3 in the thyroid cancer and thyroid adenoma were 80.00%(32/40)and 25.00%(10/40)respectively,the difference had statistical significance(P<0.001). The evaluation results of Galectin-3 in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid tumors showed that the sensitivity was 80.00%,the specificity was 75.00%and the diagnostic accordance rate was 77.50%.Conclusion:The positive expression of CK19 and Galectin-3 in thyroid cancer was significantly enhanced,which can be used as important auxiliary indexes in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid tumors.Combined detection can improve the diagnosis rate of thyroid cancer.关键词
