Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of vitamin B12 combined with doxycycline in treatment of neurological brucellosis.Method:65 outpatients and hospitalized patients in our hospital were selected,they were randomly divided into the treatment group for 35 cases and the control group for 30 cases,the treatment group was given vitamin B12 combined with doxycycline,the control group was only given doxycycline treatment,six weeks as a course of treatment.The clinical symptoms,physical signs of improvement,clinical effect and adverse reaction after treatment between the two groups were observed and compared.Result:After six weeks of treatment,the two groups after treatment were improved,the fever and headache treatment showed no significant differences(P>0.05),there were statistically significant differences in the aspect of fatigue,bone and joint pain,meningeal irritation sign,numbness,paralysis between the two groups(P<0.05).The total efficiency of treatment group was 94.3%,it was significantly higher than 66.7%of control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in adverse circumstances(P>0.05).Conclusion:Vitamin B12 combined with doxycycline in the treatment of neurobrucellosis is an effective method of treatment,is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
