摘要

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effects of coffee and trigonelline on insulin sensitivity,lipid metabolism, inflammation reaction and the level of APN in type 2 diabetes mellitus rats.Method:Type 2 diabetic rats were rendered by feeding high energy diet together with injection of streptozotocin (STZ).The rats was randomly divided into the control group,the model group,the coffee group and the trigonelline group.The changes of glucose,insulin sensitivity,lipids,TNF-α,IL-6 and adiponectin (APN) were observed.Result:Both coffee and trigonelline could reduce glucose and insulin levels and raise insulin sensitivity(P<0.05).Trigonelline could lower TC and TG levels and increase HDL level(P<0.05),but coffee could only reduce TC levels (P<0.05).In coffee group,the level of IL-6 was down and the level of APN was up (P<0.05),more than that, trigonelline could lower the level of TNF-α(P<0.05).Conclusion:Coffee and trigonelline could effectively increase insulin sensitivity,improve lipid metabolic disorder,alleviate the inflammation reaction,and promote the secretion of APN.
