Abstract
Objective Analysis of matrix metalloproteinase-6 (MMP-6) expression in gastric adenoca-rcinoma and its clinical signiifcance. Method Selected 112 cases of gastric cancer patients as observation group, 60 cases of normal gastric mucosa of non-gastric adenocarcinoma study as control group. Used real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) to detect the relationship between the expression of MMP-6 and its relationship with different clinicopathological features between gastric and explore the prognostic value. Result The MMP-6 mRNA expression in observation group was significantly higher than control group (P < 0.05). The MMP-6 mRNA expression in low degree of differentiation, lymph node metastasis, tumor stage Ⅲ ~ Ⅳstage and depth of penetration involving serous adenocarcinoma of the stomach were higher than that in well-differentiated, no lymph node metastasis, tumor stage Ⅰ ~ Ⅱperiod and involving high penetration depth, the differences were statistically signiifcant (P < 0.05). The expression of MMP-6 mRNA was closely related to the prognosis of gastric cancer (χ2=9.867, P=0.0031). Conclusion The expression of MMP-6 mRNA in gastric adenocarcinoma is high, and its occurrence in gastric adenocarcinoma may play an important role in the development of postoperative, detect of MMP-6 mRNA expression levels has important value in the prognosis of gastric cancer.关键词
