Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the expression of VEGF and TNF-α in bladder cancer tissues, and to discuss the correlation between VEGF and TNF-α expression.MethodThe expression of VEGF and TNF-α in 54 cases of bladder cancer tissues and 21 cases of normal bladder tissues were detected by ELISA. The correlation of VEGF and TNF-α expression in bladder cancer were analyzed by Spearman rank analysis. ResultThe positive expression rate of VEGF and TNF-α in bladder cancer tissues was 55.56% and 62.96%respectively, which was significantly higher than normal bladder tissues (9.09%, 13.64%) (χ2=13.8444, 15.2239,P<0.01). The positive expression rate of VEGF and TNF-α increased with increasing tumor grade and clinical stage. The positive expression rate of pathological high grade was signiifcantly higher than the low grade. The positive expression rate of Tis~T1 invasive tumors was signiifcantly higher than T2~T4 superifcial tumors (P<0.05). Spearman rank correlation showed that VEGF and TNF-α expression was positively correlated in bladder cancer (r=0.617,P<0.05).ConclusionThe positive expression rate of VEGF and TNF-α in bladder cancer tissues is correlated with the pathological grade and clinical stage. The expression level of VEGF and TNF-α can be used as an indicator of the condition monitoring and judging the recurrence of bladder cancer.关键词
