Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Bushen Yangxue recipe combined with artificial hormone in treating premature ovarian failure ( POF ) . Methods 110 POF patients were randomly divided into the combination group ( n=54 ) and the control group ( n=56 ) . The control group was given the replacement therapy of artificial cycle hormone and based on this the combination group was added with self-drafted Bushen Yangxue recipe with the treatment course of 6 months. The hormone level and clinical efficacy af-ter treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After 6-month treatment, the follicle stimulating hormone ( FSH ) and luteinizing hormone ( LH ) levels were significantly decreased, while the estradiol-2 ( E2 ) level was significantly increased. The E2 level in the combination group was significantly higher than that in the control group [ ( 148. 6 ± 32. 4 ) pmol/L vs ( 126. 2 ± 29. 5 ) pmol/L ] ( u=3. 787, P﹤0. 01 ) . The Chinese medicine symptom scores of the combination group was 12. 6 ± 2. 4, which was significantly lower than 13. 8 ± 2. 7 of the control group ( u=2. 466,P=0. 015 ) . The overall effective rate of the combination group was higher than that of the control group ( 90. 7% vs 83. 7% ) , but without statistically significant difference (χ2=1. 149,P=0. 284 ) . The incidence rate of di-gestive tract adverse reactions during treatment had no statistically significant difference between the two groups ( 13% vs 10. 7%, χ2=0. 133, P=0. 715 ) . Conclusion Bushen Yangxue recipe combined with artificial hormone in treating POF can effectively improve the in vivo hormone levels, alleviate the patients' symptoms and can enhance the clinical efficacy of simple hormone therapy.关键词
