Clinical Efficacy of WNLC Decoction Combined with Duloxetine in Treating Depression in 50 Cases

Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of duloxetine combined with Water - Nourishing and Liver - Clearing(WNLC) Decoction in treating depression. Methods By using the randomized,parallel - controlled method,100 patients with depression were ran-domized to the experimental group and the control group,50 cases in each group. The control group was treated by duloxetine,while the treatment group adopted duloxetine combined with WNLC decoction. The efficacy before and at 2,4,8 weeks after treatment was evalu-ated by the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD - 17),the Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA) and the Clinical Global Impression Scale (CGI),and the HAMD - 17 reductive ratio was taken as the main effect evaluation index. At the same time the adverse events occurred during the experimental period were observed and recorded. Results The total effective rates of the experimental group and the control group were 88. 00% and 74. 00% without statistically significant difference;but the difference in the overall situation of the effects had statistical significance;the HAMD - 17 scores at 2,4,8 weeks of treatment in the experimental group and the control group had statisti-cally significant difference( P < 0. 05);the occurrence rate of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 38. 00% ,which was sig-nificantly lower than 54. 00% in the control group( P < 0. 05). Conclusion WNLC Decoction combined with duloxetine in the treat-ment of depression is conducive to increase the clinical effect and reduce the occurrence rate of adverse reactions,which is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
