Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of Tianma Gegen Decoction in treating cervical vertigo. Methods 76 patients with cervical vertigo were randomly divided into the study group and the control group by random number table,38 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Flunarizine Hydrochloride Capsules combined with Betahistine Hydrochloride Oral Solution,while the study group was treated with Tianma Gegen Decoction. The clinical therapeutic effects and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results In the study group,20 cases were cured,17 cases were effective and the total effective rate was 97. 37%;while in the control group,17 cases were cured,15 cases were effective and the total effective rate was 84. 21%,the differences between the two groups had statistical significance(χ2=3. 93,P < 0. 05). In the study group after treatment,there were 2 cases of gastrointestinal dis-comfort and 2 cases of nausea and vomiting,they were improved after the symptomatic treatment;in the control group,1 case appeared nausea and vomiting and 1 case developed gastrointestinal discomfort;the two groups had no obvious abnormality of blood routine,liver and kidney function,blood glucose,blood lipid and ECG. The occurrence rate of adverse reactions had no statistically significant differ-ences between the two groups(χ2=0. 32,P > 0. 05). Conclusion Tianma Gegen Decoction can improve the hemodynamics in the pa-tients with cervical vertigo by expanding blood vessels,its curative effect is superior to the Western medicines with low occurrence rate of adverse reactions,which is worthy of clinical promotion.关键词
