Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical application value of acoustic radiation force impulse techniques (ARFI) in quantitative diagnosis of diffuse fatty liver and to evaluate the effect of silybin phospholipid complex therapy. Methods 50 patients with diffuse fat-ty liver in our hospital from January 2012 to January 2014 were selected and divided into mild, moderate and severe groups. Meanwhile 50 people of healthy physical examination over the same period were selected as the control group. The virtual touch tissue quantication (VTQ) value, liver function and blood lipid levels were compared among the patients in the four groups. The correlation between the VTQ value with the liver function and lipid levels was analyzed. After 4 - week silybin phospholipid complex treatment, the VTQ values, liver function and blood lipid levels were compared between before and after treatment in all the patients. Results The VTQ value was increased with the gradual increase of fatty liver severity( P ﹤ 0. 05) . The ALT, AST, TG and TC levels were gradually increased with the increase of fatty liver degree( P ﹤ 0. 05) . The Spearman correlation analysis showed that the VTQ value was positively correlated with ALT( r = 0. 405, P = 0. 042 ﹤ 0. 05), AST( r = 0. 519, P = 0. 044 ﹤ 0. 05), TG( r = 0. 490, P = 0. 038 ﹤ 0. 05) and TC( r = 0. 523, P = 0. 037 ﹤ 0. 05). The VTQ, ALT, AST, TG and TC levels after 4 - week treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment ( P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion The ARFI technique can be used for quantifying diffuse fatty liver and evaluating the curative effect of sily-bin phospholipid complex.
