Abstract
Objective To investigate the influence of rhubarb combined with Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets ( Lipitor ) on blood lipids and oxidative stress indicators in the treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease ( NAFLD ) . Methods 96 patients with NAFLD were di-vided into two groups randomly and equally. The control group was treated with oral atorvastatin, while the treatment group was added with the rhubarb decoction on the basis of the control group treatment. The course of treatment was three months. And other 50 healthy aged people undergoing the healthy physical examination were selected as the normal group. Results The blood TG, TC and LDL-C levels before treatment in the two groups were significantly increased compared with those in the normal group, while the oxidative stress indicator MDA was significantly increased, SOD and GSH-Px were significantly reduced ( P ﹤ 0. 05 ) . After treatment, the blood lipids and oxidative stress indicators in the treatment group were markedly improved compared with the control group and before treat-ment ( P ﹤ 0. 05 ) , the B-ultrasound scores were significantly decreased ( P ﹤ 0. 05 ) . Conclusion Rhubarb combined with atorvastatin can significantly regulate blood lipid level, improves the oxidative stress. Only individual cases appear mild diarrhea during the treatment process. So its security is good.关键词
