摘要
Abstract
Objective To study and analyze the efficacy of three-oxygen therapy combined with intensity modulated radiation therapy in the treatment of nasopharyngeal cancer and its influence on the patients' serum hypoxia inducible factor-1(HIF-1α) and vascular endothelial growth factors(VEGF). Methods Fifty patients with nasopharyngeal cancer treated in our hospital from January 2010 to December 2013 were selected to receive treatment and randomly divided into two groups. The control group received intensity modulated radiation therapy and the observation group received three-oxygen therapy on the basis of the control group. Results After treatment, the serum HIF-1α level of the observation group reduced significantly and that of the control group elevated significantly, with statistically significant differences for both(P < 0.01-0.05).After treatment, the serum HIF-1α level of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference(P < 0.01). After treatment, the serum VEGF level of the observation group reduced significantly and that of the control group elevated significantly, with statistically significant differences for both(P < 0.01). After treatment, the serum VEGF level of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.01). Conclusion Three-oxygen therapy combined with intensity modulated radiation therapy shows remarkable efficacy in the treatment of nasopharyngeal cancer and can improve the patients' serum levels of hypoxia inducible factor-1αand vascular endothelial growth factors.关键词
