Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of high-dose methylprednisolone combined with gamma globulin impact therapy for the infants and young children with severe pneumonia. Methods Eighty-six infants and young children were selected. The control group received symptomatic and supportive treatment and used gamma globulin.The observation group received methylprednisolone combined with gamma globulin treatment on the basis of the control group.The dyspnea remission time,fever abatement time and chest radiograph improvement time of the two groups were compared and the clinical efficacy of the two groups was analyzed. Results The observation group had significantly shorter dyspnea remission time,fever abatement time and chest radiograph improvement time than the control group(P < 0.05); The observation group had higher remarkably effective rate and effective rate than the control group(P < 0.05). Conclusion In the treatment of infants and young children with severe pneumonia,high-dose methylprednisolone combined with gamma globulin shows significant clinical efficacy and can rapidly improve the patients'clinical symptoms and clinical treatment outcomes.关键词
