Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of comfortable nursing care on patients receiving painless colonoscopy. Methods 200 patients who received painless colonoscopy from August 2011 to August 2013 were selected and randomly assigned to a comfortable nursing group and a control group. The control group received regular nursing, while the comfortable nursing group received a comfortable nursing care based on the regular nursing. Blood pressure and changes of heart rate in the two groups before and after the colonoscopy were observed. Operation time of colonoscopy, incidence of postoperative adverse events and patients' satisfaction rate were also observed. Results The blood pressure and heart rate 5 minutes before the colonoscopy in the comfortable nursing group were significantly lower than those in the control group. The operation time, incidence of adverse events were significantly lower than those in the control group. The satisfaction rate was significantly higher than that in the control group. All the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion The comfortable nursing care applied in a painless colonoscopy helps shorten operation time, reduces adverse events and improves patients' satisfaction rate.关键词
