Abstract
ObjectiveTo investigate the nursing method of manipulative reduction combined with homemade cedar bark plintlet external fixation in the treatment of children with humeral supracondylar fractures.MethodsA total of 138 children with humeral supracondylar fractures treated in our hospital from March 2010 to November 2013 were selected as the clinical study subjects and randomly divided into two groups. The control group received conventional nursing and the experiment group received reformed nursing. The sense of pain, elbow joint function and family satisfaction of the two groups of children after nursing intervention were observed and compared.Results The sense of pain of the experiment group was (2.33±1.32) points and that of the control group was (4.09±1.55) points. The observation group had significantly better elbow joint function and higher family satisfaction degree than the control group. All the indicators were significantly different between the two groups, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of reformed nursing in children with humeral supracondylar fractures treated by manipulative reduction combined with homemade cedar bark plintlet external fixation can reduce the patients' sense of discomfort, improve the elbow joint function and improve the children's family satisfaction, achieving good effects.关键词
